In this lesson, we dive into the second Book of Thessalonians. Paul starts with a subject that needed clarification in this church - the second coming of Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. In the first letter, he reminded them what he taught them about this subject - the events prior and leading up to the second coming of Jesus Christ. In this letter, we find that there was some deception and twisting of the truth that he needed to address about the second coming. There was a teaching going around claiming that the day of the Lord had already come. This chapter seeks to correct this discouraging error.
