A book that models for us moves of Holy Spirit for today, resulting in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, amazing revivals and incredible church growth that we need to be reminded of for the end time harvest, which is in our watch today.

Though they had seen Jesus twice after His resurrection, the disciples were still lost about what to do next, so they got back to their fishing business. In our last chapter of the book of John, we read about Jesus going to them and the miraculous catch of fish he brought, as well as His reinstatement of Peter.

Chapter 17 is Jesus’ prayer to His A-team – His last prayer for His disciples. We know Jesus spent time praying everyday. I suspect they were used to Jesus praying, hence when they didn’t bother Him and tried to cross the lake without Jesus before meeting a storm [John 6:16-21]. They also knew He prayed for them individually, as He tells Peter that He has been praying for his faith. This chapter reminds us that Jesus still prays on our behalf in Heaven, even today.

In this chapter, Jesus continues to comfort His disciples not to be troubled or afraid as He continues to tell them about His crucifixion, and promises them joy they will experience when they see Him again soon. He continues to encourage them about the promise of Holy Spirit and He encourages to them about the power of asking anything from the Father using His name.
Our background
AMI was founded by Mr. Sikhumbuzo Mkhize and Mrs. Bonani Mkhize in March 2008. Over a period of 30 years prior, they have two diplomas from bible training, have served as Board members of a local church in Cape Town, served as senior leaders in a church in KwaZulu-Natal, as well as served in Prison ministry and International Prayer movement in Africa. AMI is a family of ministries with different assignments but with the same vision to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.
